Service of Remembrance of ALL who have died

Every year, we have a Service of Remembrance (not a Mass)  in the church to remember and pray for all our loved ones who have gone before us. You are most welcome to this service. Bring others with you.

The service is a time of prayer, music and reflection. We will also have a PowerPoint display of photos of those who have died that families have provided to the church to display during the month of November.

If you have a picture of a loved one to be remembered please bring them to the parish house or Newlife Centre by Friday, 28th October.

Parish ThanksGiving Celebration

Opportunity to take time to give thanks to God for all the celebrations of the Sacraments that have taken place in our parish since last June.

We welcome the children who were baptised recently, made their Frist Holy Communion, received the Sacrament of Confirmation and all their families. We welcome to the couples who were recently married.

We begin with Mass at 11am followed by the "crowning" of Our Lady of Darndale Belcamp statue in the parish garden  by one of our First Holy Communion children. This is followed by refreshments in the garden (if weather is good) or in the Newlife Centre.

Event was organised by the Parish Pastoral Council.

Procession in honour of Our Lady of Fatima

To mark the 100th anniversary of the first apparition of Our Blessed Lady at Fatima (13th May 1917) and the canonisation by Pope Francis of two of the three visionaries (Jacinta and Francisco), the Travelling Community in our parish organised a full procession with Our Lady of Fatima statue and an outdoor Mass in the community of Darndale.

Bishop Ray Field was our main celebrant and Sr Lumay, with LIsa, Sharon and Martin were the key co-ordinators. Our thanks to all who helped and supported the event. The Gardaí at Coolock Garda Station were very helpful in coordinating traffic flow and leading us safely to our Mass destination.
