Annual Parish pilgrimage to Knock with the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Depending on numbers, coach will depart from Priest's House, Darndale, at 8am. arrive back around 8.30pm.

We will have the opportunity to celebrate Eucharist at 3pm with Anointing of the Sick in the Knock Basilica.

Annual Oblate Pilgrimage to Lourdes. Join over 400 pilgrims from the UK and Ireland who travel with the Oblates every year. Full board and lodgings in the 4* HOTEL SOLITUDE which provides a variety of entertainment in the evening and is of easy access to the Lourdes Sanctuary.

The Oblate Pilgrimage to Lourdes every year takes around 80 to 100 people who may be sick or have limited mobility. Pilgrimage is fully supported by the presence of Doctors, Nurses and support staff who help the pilgrim with their every need. Care is taken to ensure that every pilgrim with whatever need is taken care of as best as possible. Movement around Lourdes and the Sanctuary of Lourdes is undertaken with the help of over 90 young people from the Oblate Youth Service and with Brancadiers and Handmaids.

All assisted pilgrims must have a Medical Form completed by their GP.

With the support of the community we are able to subside the cost for those who cannot pay the full price of the pilgrimage.

A family member or friend travelling with the assisted pilgrim can also stay in the Lourdes Accuiel (Hospital) if they wish or stay in one of the many hotels used by regular pilgrims.
